What is Floot Fire?

Floot Fire is a weeklong flute workshop dedicated to educating and inspiring young musicians. Floot Fire Austin combines an informal, comfortable, and supportive atmosphere with teaching, performance, and artistic standards of the highest caliber. Our flexible daily schedule includes: performance class, electives, chamber music, flute choir, recitals, and of course practice!

Guest Artist & Clinician Jennifer Keeney, University of Houston

On Thursday all students will attend a clinic with Ms. Keeney entitled 25 Creative Practice Recipes for the Flute. Spice up your practice and flute playing! Create meaningful music for all the notes you play.  This is an interactive class using your fun-damentals to create new recipes for practice, to learn with less effort, greater efficiency and more imagination. For more information on Ms. Keeney visit her website at www.jenniferkeeney.com
